Over the last few months everyone at ROAR B2B has been working hard to ensure we can welcome you to our events in a safe and secure manner. We have worked with industry associations, stakeholders and venues to ensure the COVID-19 secure measures we have in place are practical, effective and considered the best practice to keep our colleagues, exhibitors and visitors safe.
We have taken a wide range of measures including a new cleaning regime, improved air circulation, hand sanitiser stations, temperature checks, signage, one-way systems and more.
When You Arrive

There will be signage in line with the latest government advice, displaying all the key information you’ll need to know.
We have brought in a print at home badge system so please be sure to register in advance and bring your badge with you.
There will be clear markers and one-way systems in place in public areas, toilers and lifts to help keep a logical flow through the venues, prevent bottlenecks and help everyone keep a safe distance.
We’ll be managing the capacity of the venue in line with the Crowd Density Standard (CDS), to ensure appropriate physical distancing can occur while enabling successful interactions.
When You Get Inside

Inside our venues ventilation will be increased, improving fresh air circulation in line with the latest recommendations, and temperature screenings will also be in place at entrances. Cloakrooms will be available, but there is limited availability, so we’d encourage you to please bring as little as possible to the event.
Face masks or coverings will be required to be worn by each person entering the event space, in order to prevent the spread of all germs and provide extra protection. However, an exception will be made if you have a medical exemption.
Social distancing will be managed in line with the latest government advice during build-up, the open period and breakdown. To ensure social distancing is maintained, we will be reviewing stand designs, seating will be adequately spaced and our theatres and networking areas will have increased spacing. Advice on social distancing measures will be on display in all areas of the venue and there will be personnel at the events responsible for ensuring these measures are followed. In any areas of close interaction where social distancing cannot be applied to physically separate people, there will be separation screens.
Keeping Everything Clean

Hand sanitiser will be provided at key points within all our events, and we will actively encourage visitors, exhibitors and members of staff to regularly use it.
The frequency of cleaning will be increased with a focus on key touch points such as restrooms, food and beverage areas and help points. Overnight, we will also be using fogging technology. In seminar theatres, all equipment, including audio and visual, will be disinfected between each use and members of the audience will not be able to share microphones. Exhibitors will also disinfect their stands and exhibits regularly throughout the course of the event.
Waste Management collection and removal will be increased in order to minimise risk, and specific waste management procedures, in line with guidance from Public Health England, will be in place to manage the safe disposal of PPE.
Reminders to regularly wash hands, not exchange business cards and refrain from personal greetings will be in place throughout the venue.
This framework and measures have been designed to provide our exhibitors, visitors and colleagues with the confidence that we will run organised events safety.
ROAR B2B events bring entire industries together. We are all looking forward to welcoming you to our next events where we will help recover, rebuild and innovate our industries.
