Saiam joined the ROAR team in January 2025 as our CRM Administrator and Finance Assistant. From day one, he made a big impression. Here’s how he described his first few months at ROAR - settling in, stepping up, and feeling right at home.

Q: What was your first impression of ROAR B2B?

From the moment I walked in for my interview, I could tell ROAR had a close-knit, supportive vibe - and I was right. Everyone was warm and welcoming.

Even little things, like being invited to lunch every day, made me feel part of the team from the start. It was clear this was a place where people look out for each other.

Q: How was your onboarding process and first few weeks?

The onboarding was really smooth and thoughtfully put together. I had well-spaced sessions with different colleagues, which helped me ease in without feeling overwhelmed.

My management team were great - always making sure I was comfortable with the pace and reminding me it was totally fine not to absorb everything all at once. That kind of reassurance goes a long way when you’re starting something new. I felt encouraged and supported the whole way through - and was lucky enough to win a Roarsome Award in my first full month, which was a real confidence boost.

Q: What advice would you give to someone starting here tomorrow?

Get involved!

Don’t be shy to ask questions or start conversations - everyone’s approachable and happy to help. Go to lunch with different people, chat to colleagues across teams, and just soak it all in.

There’s also loads of helpful training material if you want to get ahead early. The more you engage, the easier and more enjoyable everything becomes
