
Q: You joined ROAR back in 2021 after EMG was acquired - what was that transition like for you?
Honestly, the process was really smooth. The ROAR team were incredibly supportive and welcoming from the start. Even though we were technically the new guys, it never felt like that. We started sharing experience and tools almost straightaway, especially within the marketing team and together we formed a stronger team.
Q: And since then, you’ve moved into a senior leadership role - what’s that journey looked like?
It’s been a brilliant few years. I’ve took part in ROAR’s internal management training programme, which really helped me grow into the role I have now. I’ve been trusted to take on more responsibility and help shape the strategy from a senior level - that sort of trust and support really helps.
Q: What would you say makes ROAR a great place to work?
The people are great. It’s a team that’s genuinely up for learning and doing the right thing.
Naturally, as a commercial business there’s ambitious growth targets, but it’s backed up by good values. Everyone wants the business to grow but there’s genuine care for people and the doing the right thing which makes it a really energising place to work.
