ROAR B2B Recognises Mental Health Awareness Week with a Focus on Wellbeing
At ROAR B2B, we believe that looking after our people goes beyond just supporting career growth - it means caring for their health and wellbeing too.
To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, our team came together for a series of small, meaningful activities designed to boost both body and mind. From movement and mindfulness to nutrition and relaxation, the week was a brilliant reminder of how important it is to make space for wellbeing in our working lives.
A Breath of Fresh AirWe kicked things off with a lunchtime mental health walk - a simple but powerful way to step away from our screens, enjoy some fresh air, and reconnect with each other. It’s amazing how much a brisk walk and a few good conversations can lift your mood.
Snacks with SubstanceThroughout the week, our kitchen was stocked with a variety of healthy snacks - from fresh fruit to lentil crisps to energy-boosting flapjacks - all chosen to nourish the body and support brain health.
Stress Relief on SiteWe were also treated to free massages, helping ease tension, reduce stress, and bring a moment of calm to our day. Our team loved this chance to unwind and reset - there was even a waitlist! Proof that even 10 minutes of relaxation can go a long way.
Food for ThoughtOne of the standout moments of the week was a lunchtime session with nutritional therapist Nicola Moore, who joined us to talk about the gut-brain connection. It was a fascinating and insightful discussion on how what we eat can directly influence our mood, energy, and overall mental health. We left with practical tips, fresh inspiration, and a renewed awareness of the link between diet and wellbeing.
At ROAR, we’re proud to be a place where people are supported, valued, and encouraged to take care of themselves. Mental health isn’t just a theme for a single week - it’s something we’re committed to building into our culture every day.
We hope by sharing what we’ve done, we’ll inspire other teams to make space for wellbeing—no matter how small the steps.
